Description of touristic objects:
Vyzhenka village
Vyzhenka is the center of green tourism in Bukovina. A picturesque place with charming Carpathian landscapes is known among tourists from the XIX century. The village is located in the valley of the mountain of the same name Vyzhenka. There are two churches built in the traditional Hutsul style in the village - the Ukrainian Church of St. John of Suceava (1792) with a bell tower and the Russian Church of St. Nicholas, built 1920 on the place of the old one. Next to it is a chapel, on the wall of which there are inscriptions-murmurs of local peasants to serfdom since 1821. The holy place of the Jewish (Hasidic) community is nearby. According to legend, the famous founder of Hasidism Baal Shem Tov (Besht), who lived in Kuty and went to solitude and pray to the Dovbush cave, bathed here. The local Hutsul cuisine will also leave you indifferent. The pleasure of clean air in the primeval nature, the silence that swells like a string, and the fascination with the unique traditional lifestyle - is guaranteed to all! Before the First World War Vyzhenka was a popular Austro-Hungarian resort. The village is the gateway to the famous Nimchich Pass.
